An architecture graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Sarah joined Hammond Wilson in 2015.
Outside of the office, Sarah is a master gardener and avid follower of the National Symphony Orchestra. “Watching the orchestra play is awe-inspiring for me. Music and architecture are closely related, in that the conductor has to be aware of each instrument’s role in creating the whole and know precisely how and when to cue the musicians, in accordance with the nuances of the composition. The best compositions are tightly woven and intricate, like the fibers of a richly textured tapestry.”
